How to register
Who needs to register in the Scheme?
By law, all employers in the construction and electrical industries who the Registered Employment Agreement (REA) applies to must provide pension benefits, death-in-service benefits and sick pay for all manual workers aged 20 to 65.

There are four steps to registering as an employer with the Construction Workers' Pension Scheme:
- complete an employer registration form
- complete a Deed of Adherence
- complete a new member registration form for each new member
- complete an electronic payment collection form if you wish to pay contributions electronically

How to Register for CWPS

Step 1
fill in a ‘deed of adherence"
This is the legal document that employers must fill in to register for the scheme.
Step 3
fill in ‘new member registration form’
This form gives us
your employees details.

Step 2
fill in an "employer registration form"
This form to be completed by a Limited Company
Step 4
fill in "electronic payment collection form"
if you wish to pay contributions electronically

This form to be completed by a Sole Trader/Partnership
|
You must make sure that your new employees are registered in the scheme within two weeks of starting to work for you, and you must fill in a separate form for each employee that you are registering.
