Compliance
All employers in the construction and electrical industries who the Registered Employment Agreement (REA) applies to must provide pension benefits, death-in-service benefits and sick pay for all manual workers aged 20 to 65. The levels of pension, sick-pay and death-in-service benefits to be provided to manual employees are set out in the REA and any Statutory Variation Orders are made by the Labour Court.

Letters of Compliance
A Letter of Compliance (LoC) is issued by CWPS to confirm that pension, death-in-service and sick pay contributions for an employer’s eligible employees are paid up to date in accordance with Scheme rules.
A Letter of Compliance
- Is only issued after compliance has been confirmed by CWPS
- Is issued ONLY by e-mail and/or post
- has a security hologram on the top right hand side
- e-mailed PDF versions cannot be printed but the e-mailed version can be sent on to the client/contractor requesting it
- cannot be faxed as it must be presented as an original or in PDF format only.
